... the baby is a ...... GIRL! I finally managed to get my real ultrasound today, and we found out that this little punkin is a female. Yay!!! I'm so excited. The ultrasound tech guy was super sarcastic and not altogether pleasant, but at one point he commented, "And I bet you already have a name picked out. And that you've had it picked out for forever."
"Yep!" I cheerfully replied. "If it'd been a boy, I would've had no idea."
"That's how it always goes," he said to Joe, shaking his head.
Ah well. I myself am a girl. What can I say. :)
Hooray for pink! For princesses! For ballet! (Here's hoping she loves such things ...) :)

Congratulations Ashley! We can't wait to meet her.
Oodles of love from us.
CONGRATS!!! I am still trying to figure out if Autumn is girly girl. I can't decide; but if we based it off her first word she'll be a tomboy for sure. First word was "truck". My son is obsessed with trucks and that's all she hears about. I am so super excited for you though!!! She'll be just as beautiful as her momma!
Yea!! That's very exciting. Congrats!
Yeah! I am so excited for you guys, hurray for girls, they are so fun!
YAY!!! Soooo excited for you guys! If I have my way, I'd have ALL girls, but of course that's because I don't know what I'm missing. :)
Congrats!! What's the name, if you don't mind sharing??
That is so exciting! Congratulations!! Spencer and Isaac will be the perfect older brothers and they will love their sister dearly. Pink and princesses and hairbows are just so much fun for mommies!
Woo-hoooo! So.... what *is* the name you have picked out? Or is it a secret (totally fine if it is of course).
Can't wait! Ruffles and lace! She will be amazing like her parents. . .
Congratulations you guys!
Aw heck, now I have no idea what to send you for a baby shower gift. I should just ask Alice, of course. Those crazy girly girls ;)
Anything you might send would be awesomely practical and needed and unique and appreciated, Susan. Don't think it has to be pink or have anything whatsoever to do with princesses or ballet. :)
And the name we're tentatively settled on is Gemma Ellen. If you don't love it, I don't want to know. :) :)
Yea for girls! I'm glad the ultrasound tech didn't offend you, I love all that girly stuff too!
Congratulations, Ashley!! What wonderful news! She'll be a little doll. I just want to say that I'm missing your family around here! Henry often brings up Spencer and how he moved away and he misses him. I particularly miss his sweet prayers in Primary, and your awesome institute lessons. Can't wait to see the little lady come June!
Congratulations!!! We are so happy for you and your growing family!
