On New Year's Eve, we discovered this great little alcove of a beach, not three or four minutes' drive from our apartment. When we visited the first time, it was just us and a handful of people with their dogs. Today, it was pretty much just us. S-weet! Of course, it was nearly dark outside by the time we got there. We just caught the tail end of the sun setting over the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco skyline.I think we'll find ample ways to be happy here. Milk prices notwithstanding. :)

I am SO grateful that your children will grow up by the ocean. . . at least for a few years. . . God is watching out for you!
