Car conversation

I had to scribble down this conversation when we arrived at the store so I wouldn't forget it. Isaac started the conversation definitely tired and grumpy, but he ended it laughing. Way to go, Spence!

Spencer: Isaac, are you tired?
Isaac: Uh-uh.
Sp: Are you grumpy?
Is: No.
Sp: Are you happy?
Is: No.
Sp: Are you sad?
Is: No.
Sp: Are you angry?
Is: No.
Sp: Are you confused?
Is: No.
Sp: Are you squishable?
Is: No.
Sp: Are you ticklish?
Is: No.
Sp: Are you sleepy?
Is: No. (giggling)
Sp: Isaac, say "no."
Is: (grunty, belly giggle, but a refusal to comply)
Sp: Isaac, say "I love you."
Is: Wov-ee!

Awww! I love these little boys!

And I have to add a little dinnertime declaration. Spencer said, "Jesus likes us to eat healthy foods." I nodded. "And toys are good for our bodies. They give us energy so we can talk. And swallow."
