A budding photographer (and big brother)

Isaac woke up crying in his Pack 'n' Play simultaneously with a knock at the door. Spence had been wandering around taking pictures with our camera (a very rare privilege for him---i.e., Mommy was desperate to entertain him at the moment), and to my surprise, he happily volunteered to "go make Isaac happy." Off he went to Isaac, and off I went to answer the door. To my surprise, Spencer effectively stopped Isaac's crying right off the bat, so I didn't think much more of what they were doing for ten minutes or so, since I could only hear chattering, happy noises coming from the room. Eventually, I had to peek, and I found them both in the Pack 'n' Play together, happy as could be.

I'd forgotten that I'd armed him with a camera.

I'll just let Spencer tell the photographic story of how he made his little brother cheer up from those post-nap blues.

1. The ceiling (and forehead) on the way to Mom and Dad's room.
2. Wakey, wakey, sleepy baby!
3. Chin.
4. C'mon. Nap time's over!
5. Hmm. Bar of crib is blocking my shots. Guess I'll just climb in ...
6. Much better! (And Isaac): Arrgh! I can't believe you keep flashing me in the eyes in this darkened room!
7. Belly shot. (There were lots and lots of these)
8. Cute blurry baby.
9. (My personal all-time favorite) Happy now!
10. My turn!
11. And one last belly shot.
There were over fifty new pictures on my camera by the time I intervened. I love, love, love that I have captured this happy play moment between my two boys. They're really growing into being brothers---pals---lately. Needless to say, not much makes this mommy happier.
