Spencer's story, Isaac's words

Spencer told me his first imaginary story ever today, while we were driving in the car. It went like this:

Spence: Mommy, I'm gonna tell a story.
Mommy: Okay, let's hear it!
Spence: "There's a Big Fat Giant Roll of Toilet Paper Behind Me." That's what it's called.
Mommy: Wow, sounds great. Does it start "Once upon a time ..."?
Spence: Once upon a time, there was a big, fat, giant roll of toilet paper behind me. Then I tore off a great big piece and tore that into little half pieces.
Mommy: And then?
Spence: And then I threw them away so Isaac wouldn't eat them. Then I ate too many muffins and got a stomachache! (cackling his little head-thrown-back Spencer cackle) The end!

Awesome. I think we're going to write it out and illustrate it for preschool this week.

And in Isaac news, here's a little video of his latest speech/signing accomplishments. Though since this was taken, he has also started counting. Sort of. He says "Two, three, two, three!" I guess he hears counting a lot around here, of the "Spencer, five seconds to choose, five, four, three, two, one!" variety.
